It's been quite the journey! Two and a half years ago, Château Coffee Co. opened inside a strip mall with big dreams of innovating the coffee space, focusing on customer experience, and bringing great coffee to the Lansing community. Our strong passion and dedication to hard work sparked a great coffee shop that became a hot spot right here on Waverly Road. We built and brought together a community. A simple coffee stop became someone's best part of the day; where strangers became friends, and family members grew closer by meeting each other over coffee. When people ask me what my favorite part of the job is, one thing comes to mind: customers that were strangers cross paths at Château, greet each other, sit together, and become close friends, with Château creating a space that allows those type of connections to happen.  

Some believed in us, some didn't, some knew it would be hard for us to make it, and some never doubted. However, all of us at Château are simply thankful for all the customers that helped us get to where we are today. From the ones who come every day to those just passing through, from those who join us for the monthly coffee flights, to those who come for the food, from those who share their name with a kind smile, to those who tell us about what their grandchildren did over the weekend. From me and the Château Team, we appreciate every interaction we've had with every single one of you. 

Our second location, at 2359 W Grand River Ave. in Okemos, MI, is a testament to the hard work and effort from the team and me, and the support of customers, family, and friends. We will be working hard over the next few months to get the second location set up. However, rest assured that quality and customer experience are our fortes, and nothing will diminish that- no matter how much we grow. You will still find me at the Lansing location with an iced red eye in hand, welcoming customers from time to time. It's something I love to do.
